When we were on our trip, while Trent would spend his day interviewing I would spend my day in coffee shops writing or wandering taking pictures.
I'm still missing that magical week of seeing new places and finding focus to start projects that I've long wanted to do.

Hi Barbara. I LOVE your blog so much and I am ashamed that I have not commented on a regular basis. Your life makes me THINK and FEEL... But I am sad when you are low or lack confidence... I secretly want you and Trent to be sent to Atlanta... I would love to be your next door neighbor.
And my goodness but your photography is AWESOME.
Consider this a hug and pat on the back.

Thank You!
( Is it you Susan?)

Reading this really made me smile!
I've been having a hard time at work and last week 3 out of 5 days as soon as I got home I went straight to bed. I can't quit without taking on another job right away and I am trying to decide what is the best action I can take. I want to protect my creative time.
Thank you so much for the hug and the pat on the back. I truly needed them.

Yes I am the Susan who talked to you in sept via etsy...
I finally mailed your something special yesterday. I think it is a cool little item (someday I will tell you the whole story, it belonged to my great aunt Alice Hilt). I hope it is worthy of living in your wonderful home and life!
I am curious, but what is Trent's specialty going to be?

Susan,
he is interested in hematology and oncology beyond that he is still not certain.
I can't believe you mailed me something of your great aunt's! I know that I will treasure it.
