My friend Nadia came over yesterday and together we tried to figure out how to crotchet a rag rug. I think we are at least beginning to get the idea. I'm really excited about the possibilities with this. I'm not a great knitter and I 'm not sure I'll do much better with crochet, but there is still a lot you can do with the basics (well at least I think so!).

This is something I've been thinking about doing myself.
As you know, I have been a weaver and have woven lots of rag rugs.
i can do neither so i am extremely jealous! :)
